The questions we hear most often from teams scoping editing, colour, sound, and finishing work.
Can you work with footage we have already shot, or do we need to shoot with you?
Both. You can send us footage you have already shot, or bring us in from the start. Most post-production clients work with us purely on the edit, finishing, and delivery side, sending camera files, project files, or rough cuts from their own shoots or other production partners. We accept media from any camera system, codec, and resolution.
What is the difference between colour correction and colour grading?
Colour correction is technical: balancing exposure, fixing white balance, matching shots across a scene so everything looks consistent. Colour grading is creative: establishing a visual mood, tone, and look that supports the story. We do both, and they are typically handled together in the same session.
Can you add visual effects to footage that was not shot with VFX in mind?
Yes, within limits. Clean-up effects like object removal, sky replacement, screen insertion, and stabilisation work on most well-shot footage. More complex compositing may require specific plate information or tracking markers. We will assess your footage and tell you honestly what is achievable before you commit.
How fast can you turn around edits?
It depends on scope. A simple social cutdown can be delivered same-day. A full commercial edit with grading and sound typically takes three to five working days. Documentary and long-form projects are scoped individually. We do also provide urgent editing service. If you have a hard deadline, tell us upfront and we will build the schedule around it.
Do you work in our editing software, or do we need to adapt to yours?
We work in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Final Cut Pro. If you need us to pick up an existing project, we can open your session files and continue from where your team left off. No re-conforming, no lost metadata.
Can you handle high-volume content production on an ongoing basis?
Yes. We regularly support content pipelines that require weekly or monthly delivery of edited, graded, and formatted video across multiple platforms. We structure these as retainer engagements with dedicated editors and agreed turnaround windows.
What delivery formats do you support?
Everything from ProRes masters and broadcast TX files to H.264 social uploads and DCP cinema packages. We deliver to platform-specific specs for YouTube, Vimeo, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and broadcaster ingest requirements. If you have a custom delivery spec, send it over and we will match it.
How do review rounds and feedback work?
We share review links through Frame.io or a platform of your choice. You leave timestamped comments directly on the video. We consolidate feedback and implement in a single pass. Two review rounds are included in every project, with additional rounds available at a quoted rate.
Can you provide post-production for content in multiple languages?
Yes. We handle subtitle creation, caption files in SRT and VTT, burned-in subtitles for social, and can manage multi-language voiceover recording and sync. For localised versions, we create separate masters with region-specific graphics and text where needed.
